Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX)

Consumer Discretionary - Internet Retail | Reports July 17, after the close.

The Estimize consensus calls for EPS of $0.18, two cents higher than the Wall Street consensus, with revenues in-line at $2.76B.

Netflix

What to watch: Even more so than earnings and revenue actuals, it’s number of subscribers that Netflix investors care about each quarter. For Q2 the Estimize community anticipates total streaming subscribers will hit 103M, a 23% increase from the year-ago quarter. Net subscription additions from the US are expected to total 731,960, and increase of 352% YoY, while international additions are estimated at 2.7M, an 81% increase.

Bank of America (NYSE:BAC)

Financials - Diversified Financial Services | Reports July 18, before the open.

The Estimize consensus calls for EPS of $0.46, three cents higher than the Wall Street consensus and an increase of 30% YoY. Currently, the Estimize community is looking for sales of $22.25B, also higher than Wall Street’s $21.91B.

Bank of America

What to watch: The big banks (JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:JPM), Citigroup Inc (NYSE:C), WFC) kicked off earnings season on a high note when they reported on Friday, all beating on the bottom-line, and only Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) missing on the top-line. However, we have seen a trend of declining FICC trading revenue and equity trading revenue this quarter, slightly offset by increased investment banking revenues. That trend is expected to continue with Bank of America, but to a lesser extent. The Estimize community is looking for a 2% decline in FICC trading revenues YoY, and a 3% decline in equity trading revenues. Investment banking revenues are anticipated to increase 17%.

International Business Machines (NYSE:IBM)

Information Technology - IT Services | Reports July 18, after the close.

The Estimize consensus calls for EPS of $2.76, three cents higher than the Wall Street consensus. Currently, the Estimize community is looking for revenues of $19.50B, just slightly higher than the Street’s expectation for $19.46B.

International Business Machines

What to watch: In the last three months, EPS estimates for IBM have fallen 14%, with revenues down 2% in that time. This is after Q1 results missed Estimize expectations on the top and bottom-line, as IBM struggles to expand into higher growth market segments such as cloud, mobile and security, and instead remains hung up in older, saturated markets. The tech behemoth has been posting negative revenue growth since Q1 2012. After increasing 20% in 2016, the stock has tumbled nearly 8% in 2017, despite tech stocks doing well overall.

Visa Inc (NYSE:V)

Information Technology - IT Services | Reports July 20, after the close.

The Estimize consensus calls for EPS of $0.85, four cents above the Street’s $0.81. Currently, the Estimize community is looking for sales of $4.43B, also higher than Wall Street’s $4.36B.

Visa

What to watch: For Q2 the Estimize community expects Visa to post a fourth consecutive quarter of double digit growth on the top and the bottom-line of 17% and 20%, respectively. Other key metrics are estimated to increase by double digits as well. The Estimize consensus calls for Gross Dollar Volume to reach $2.6T, a 32% increase from the year ago quarter. Processed transactions are predicted to see a similar incline, with consensus currently standing at 27.3B, a 38% increase YoY.

eBay Inc (NASDAQ:EBAY)

Information Technology - Internet Software & Services | Reports July 20, after the close.

The Estimize consensus calls for EPS of $0.46, one cents above the Wall Street consensus, with revenues in-line at $2.3B.

eBay

What to watch: Last quarter, eBay reported in-line with the Estimize community on EPS, but slightly missed on revenues. Since then, estimates for EPS have come down 5% while top-line expectations have remained flat. The company added 2 million active buyers to its user base in the first quarter which was the fastest pace of growth seen in almost a year. In addition, gross merchandise volume grew at the fastest rate since 2014. For the second quarter, the Estimize consensus calls for GMV to reach 21.6B, or 4% growth YoY.
