OppenheimerFunds is a subsidiary of MassMutual, which is one of the leading asset managers with around $600 billion assets under management along with its affiliates. OppenheimerFunds was founded in 1959, and has over 2,000 employees and 170 investment professionals serving clients, including financial advisors, individual investors and institutional investors, across 77 countries. It has $247 billion worth of assets (as of Nov 30, 2017) under management invested in 76 mutual funds across a wide range of categories including equity, fixed income, alternative and multi asset funds.

Oppenheimer Global A OPPAX seeks growth of capital. OPPAX invests in both domestic and foreign companies, with special focus mainly on foreign issuers, including those from developed and emerging markets. The fund normally invests in more than three countries. At present, OPPAX focuses on investing in developed markets like the Western European countries, U.S. and Japan. Oppenheimer Global A has one-year annualized returns of 33.6%.

As of October 2017, OPPAX held 79 issues, with 3.36% of its assets invested in Airbus SE.

Oppenheimer Gold & Special Minerals A OPGSX invests primarily in common stocks of companies engaged in processing, mining and dealing in gold, gold bullion and precious metals-based ETFs. OPGSX invests not more than one-fourth of its assets in the Oppenheimer Gold & Special Minerals Fund (Cayman) Ltd. Oppenheimer Gold & Special Minerals A has one-year annualized returns of 3.6%.

OPGSX has an expense ratio of 1.15% compared with the category average of 1.24%.

Oppenheimer Developing Markets Y ODVYX seeks growth of capital. ODVYX invests primarily in common stocks of companies based in developing and emerging markets. It may invest in more than three developing countries. Oppenheimer Developing Markets Y has one-year annualized returns of 29.9%.
