Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 2.99% or 11.2 points to trade at 386.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.43% or 35.0 points to end at 1476.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 0.62% or 1.8 points to 292.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which fell 1.61% or 1.35 points to trade at 82.25 at the close. Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) declined 1.37% or 4.20 points to end at 303.10 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 1.25% or 8.0 points to 630.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 50 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) rose to all time highs; up 2.99% or 11.2 to 386.0.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.55% or 0.66 to $43.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.76% or 0.79 to hit $45.61 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.54 to trade at $1252.34 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.6682, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4362.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 97.26.
