NEW YORK, Oct 21 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks stayed at higher levels on Wednesday after a Federal Reserve report said U.S. economic conditions stabilized or improved modestly in most parts of the country.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was up 41.27 points, or 0.41 percent, at 10,082.75. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was up 7.37 points, or 0.68 percent, at 1,098.43. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was up 15.86 points, or 0.73 percent, at 2,179.33.
