Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 2.09% or 4.70 points to trade at 230.00 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 1.86% or 0.68 points to end at 37.23 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.17% or 0.8 points to 65.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which fell 1.52% or 2.30 points to trade at 148.60 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 1.48% or 0.50 points to end at 33.22 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) was down 1.32% or 1.40 points to 104.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 385 to 301 and 95 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.80% or 0.35 to $43.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.96% or 0.44 to hit $45.58 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.77 to trade at $1246.27 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.13% to 9.7670, while USD/SEK fell 0.21% to 8.7640.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 97.38.
