Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financial Services & Real Estate, Building & Construction and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 fell 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were ArcelorMittal SA (MC:MTS), which rose 2.64% or 0.590 points to trade at 22.950 at the close. Meanwhile, Cellnex Telecom SA (MC:CLNX) added 2.47% or 0.49 points to end at 20.30 and Amadeus IT (MC:AMA) was up 1.18% or 0.670 points to 57.440 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mapfre (MC:MAP), which fell 2.20% or 0.060 points to trade at 2.670 at the close. Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA (MC:GAM) declined 1.65% or 0.210 points to end at 12.555 and Distribuidora Intl de Aliment (MC:DIDA) was down 1.55% or 0.069 points to 4.381.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 87 to 67 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Cellnex Telecom SA (MC:CLNX) rose to all time highs; up 2.47% or 0.49 to 20.30. Shares in Amadeus IT (MC:AMA) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.18% or 0.670 to 57.440.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.52% or 6.70 to $1295.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.11% or 0.57 to hit $50.73 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.93% or 0.53 to trade at $56.41 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.13% to 1.1843, while EUR/GBP fell 0.45% to 0.8931.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 92.89.
