Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Telecoms & IT and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180), which rose 10.00% or 1.36 points to trade at 14.96 at the close. Meanwhile, Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) added 9.98% or 5.30 points to end at 58.40 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) was up 9.97% or 1.34 points to 14.78 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001), which fell 3.03% or 4.00 points to trade at 128.20 at the close. Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) declined 2.91% or 0.85 points to end at 28.40 and National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) was down 2.28% or 1.30 points to 55.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 113 to 77 and 12 ended unchanged.

Shares in Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.98% or 5.30 to 58.40. Shares in Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.97% or 1.34 to 14.78.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.30% or 0.12 to $40.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.17% or 0.07 to hit $41.84 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 4.80 to trade at $1863.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.08% to 4.3693, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.498.
