Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Telecoms & IT and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310), which rose 9.97% or 1.54 points to trade at 16.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) added 9.95% or 1.940 points to end at 21.440 and Food Products Co. (SE:2100) was up 9.93% or 17.00 points to 188.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:7200), which fell 5.88% or 9.00 points to trade at 144.00 at the close. United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301) declined 3.84% or 1.45 points to end at 36.30 and Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) was down 3.13% or 4.00 points to 123.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 100 to 95 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.97% or 1.54 to 16.98. Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.95% or 1.940 to 21.440.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.36% or 1.40 to $60.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.85% or 1.15 to hit $63.29 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.91% or 16.20 to trade at $1793.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.23% to 4.5542, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 90.220.
