Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Industrial Investment and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.34% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070), which rose 9.98% or 2.41 points to trade at 26.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Omran Industrial & Trading Co (SE:4141) added 9.95% or 11.00 points to end at 121.60 and Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) was up 9.83% or 9.70 points to 108.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:8150), which fell 3.88% or 2.70 points to trade at 66.80 at the close. SABB Takaful (SE:8080) declined 2.13% or 0.65 points to end at 29.85 and Tabuk Cement Co. (SE:3090) was down 1.97% or 0.36 points to 17.94.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 100 to 86 and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in Al Omran Industrial & Trading Co (SE:4141) rose to all time highs; up 9.95% or 11.00 to 121.60. Shares in Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) rose to 5-year highs; rising 9.83% or 9.70 to 108.40.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.11% or 0.06 to $53.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.16% or 0.09 to hit $56.49 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.82% or 15.05 to trade at $1859.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.28% to 4.5660, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 90.227.
