Investing.com - The Australian Dollar was lower against the U.S. Dollar on Thursday after the release of Australian data on Employment Change.
AUD/USD was trading at 1.0246, down 0.47% at time of writing.
The pair was likely to find support at 1.0156, Tuesday’s low, and resistance at 1.0305, Wednesday’s high.
Earlier in the day, official data showed that Australian employment change fell unexpectedly to a seasonally adjusted -6.3K last month from 16.8K in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from 10.1K.
Analysts had expected Australian employment change to rise 10.6K last month.
Meanwhile, the Australian Dollar was down against the Euro and the Japanese Yen, with EUR/AUD gaining 0.39% to hit 1.3081 and AUD/JPY falling 0.49% to hit 79.57.
