Investing.com – Peru stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the S&P Lima Juniors, Non-Metal Minerals and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General added 2.18%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Atacocha (LM:ATB), which rose 12.07% or 0.070 points to trade at 0.650 at the close. Meanwhile, Minsur (LM:MINi) added 10.49% or 0.170 points to end at 1.790 and Casa Grande (LM:CSG) was up 9.37% or 0.520 points to 6.070 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were PPX Mining Corp (LM:PPX), which unchanged 2.86% or 0.00 points to trade at 0.07 at the close. Buenaventura (LM:BVN) declined 0.07% or 0.010 points to end at 13.700 and Austral Group SAA (LM:AUG) was 0.00% or 0.000 points to 1.500.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 35 to 4 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.03% or 0.02 to $58.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.22% or 0.14 to hit $65.04 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 8.20 to trade at $1278.80 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was down 1.01% to 3.2345, while EUR/PEN fell 0.89% to 3.8348.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 92.89.
