Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Real Estate and Distributors sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Maghreb Oxygene (CS:OXYG), which rose 10.00% or 8.80 points to trade at 96.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) added 8.83% or 4.06 points to end at 50.00 and S2M (CS:S2M) was up 3.71% or 8.20 points to 229.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO), which fell 5.95% or 83 points to trade at 1311 at the close. SMI (CS:SMI) declined 5.59% or 137 points to end at 2311 and Realis. Mecaniques (CS:SRM) was down 4.91% or 11.90 points to 230.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 24 to 22 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) rose to 3-years highs; rising 8.83% or 4.06 to 50.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.34% or 0.58 to $43.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.37% or 0.61 to hit $45.14 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.48% or 18.50 to trade at $1231.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.24% to 10.9100, while USD/MAD rose 0.33% to 9.7205.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 95.11.
