Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 7.41% or 185.0 points to trade at 2680.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 0.41% or 80.0 points to end at 19700.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was up 0.20% or 2.0 points to 996.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which fell 1.94% or 25.0 points to trade at 1265.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.81% or 25.0 points to end at 1355.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was down 1.68% or 200.0 points to 11680.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 23 to 6 and 5 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.22% or 0.28 to $128.92 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 2.49% or 48.00 to hit $1876.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.92% or 11.29 to trade at $1212.01 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.32% to 3089.42, while BRL/COP rose 0.90% to 941.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 95.77.
