Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.42%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 5.73% or 3070 points to trade at 56660 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 5.21% or 27 points to end at 549 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was up 4.87% or 2000 points to 43100 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which fell 1.53% or 3.9 points to trade at 251.2 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 0.82% or 28 points to end at 3393 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 0.70% or 420 points to 59720.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 294 to 93 and 38 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 4.03% or 2.00 to $51.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 3.93% or 2.12 to hit $56.08 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 6.25 to trade at $1561.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.12% to 3.4417, while EUR/ILS fell 0.46% to 3.7875.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 98.070.
