Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Banking and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Hygeia (AT:HYGr), which rose 8.31% or 0.056 points to trade at 0.730 at the close. Meanwhile, Marfin Invest (AT:MRFr) added 7.09% or 0.010 points to end at 0.151 and AS Company SA (AT:ASCr) was up 2.88% or 0.060 points to 2.140 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Piraeus Bank SA (AT:BOPr), which fell 6.99% or 0.232 points to trade at 3.088 at the close. Athens Medical (AT:AMCr) declined 6.71% or 0.100 points to end at 1.390 and Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) was down 4.31% or 0.0090 points to 0.2000.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 78 to 28 and 14 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.52% or 6.80 to $1319.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May fell 0.56% or 0.35 to hit $62.06 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract fell 0.30% or 0.20 to trade at $66.01 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.34% to 1.2332, while EUR/GBP fell 0.40% to 0.8784.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 89.47.
