Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 added 0.16%, while the SBF 120 index added 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Kering SA (PA:PRTP), which rose 3.98% or 17.10 points to trade at 447.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Carrefour SA (PA:CARR) added 2.80% or 0.42 points to end at 15.61 and Bouygues SA (PA:BOUY) was up 1.60% or 0.56 points to 35.66 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Schneider Electric SE (PA:SCHN), which fell 4.92% or 3.34 points to trade at 64.50 at the close. Sodexo (PA:EXHO) declined 2.36% or 2.08 points to end at 86.16 and Legrand SA (PA:LEGD) was down 1.65% or 1.04 points to 62.00.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Kering SA (PA:PRTP) which rose 3.98% to 447.20, Television Francaise 1 SA (PA:TFFP) which was up 3.26% to settle at 8.540 and Carrefour SA (PA:CARR) which gained 2.80% to close at 15.61.
The worst performers were Altran Technologies (PA:ALTT) which was down 5.77% to 8.000 in late trade, Schneider Electric SE (PA:SCHN) which lost 4.92% to settle at 64.50 and Rexel (PA:RXL) which was down 3.40% to 13.06 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 324 to 242 and 98 ended unchanged.

The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was down 4.79% to 15.50.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.26% or 3.10 to $1201.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.77% or 0.52 to hit $67.25 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.41% or 0.31 to trade at $76.19 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.54% to 1.1559, while EUR/GBP fell 0.52% to 0.8942.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 95.35.
