Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 1.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metso Oyj (HE:METSO), which rose 1.00% or 0.26 points to trade at 26.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 0.81% or 0.20 points to end at 24.95 and YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) was up 0.56% or 0.04 points to 7.13 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V), which fell 5.79% or 1.76 points to trade at 28.66 at the close. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 2.67% or 0.210 points to end at 7.644 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was down 2.50% or 0.375 points to 14.625.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 88 to 52 and 19 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for May delivery was down 0.69% or 0.45 to $64.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 1.37% or 0.84 to hit $60.52 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 6.70 to trade at $1327.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.49% to 1.2400, while EUR/GBP fell 0.07% to 0.8870.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 89.63.
