Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb), which rose 5.80% or 23.30 points to trade at 424.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) added 2.53% or 70.00 points to end at 2,836.00 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was up 1.75% or 6.70 points to 390.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 2.67% or 22.80 points to trade at 830.40 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 2.59% or 3.50 points to end at 131.80 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 2.07% or 6.60 points to 312.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 69 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.12% or 0.89 to $80.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.09% or 0.92 to hit $85.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 10.55 to trade at $2,339.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.01% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 104.93.
