Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Agriculture & Food and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 9.97% or 4.85 points to trade at 53.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 8.50% or 1.46 points to end at 18.64 and Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) was up 8.04% or 2.15 points to 28.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE:4100), which fell 2.49% or 2.40 points to trade at 94.00 at the close. Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) declined 1.37% or 0.20 points to end at 14.42 and Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) was down 1.18% or 0.28 points to 23.52.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 119 to 48 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.97% or 4.85 to 53.50.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.00% or 0.46 to $46.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.30% or 0.63 to hit $49.05 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.95% or 11.58 to trade at $1228.88 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.63% to 4.3017, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.69% at 94.90.
