Investing.com - Gold futures were lower in European trade on Friday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for June delivery traded at USD1674.05 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.39%.
It earlier traded at a session low USD1670.75 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1633.05 and resistance at USD1681.15.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.19% to trade at USD79.62.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery fell 0.75% to trade at USD32.280 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery fell 1.52% to trade at USD3.664 a pound.
