Investing.com. The dollar was lower Monday ahead of Fed and BoJ policy meetings later in the week.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against a basket of six currencies, was down 0.2% at 95.8 at 02:45ET.
Bets on a U.S. rate hike this year increased after data Friday showed higher-than-expected inflation in August.
The dollar was down 0.17% at 102.11 yen. The euro was up 0.08% at $1.1164.
There is talk the BoJ might move push rates further into negative territory.
