Investing.com - The dollar was higher against major currencies Friday, underpinned by U.S. rate hike bets.
The dollar index was up 0,41% at 97.93 after a seven-month high of 98.12 on Thursday.
The greenback was trading above 104 yen and rose some 0.4% against the euro.
Investors are looking to a speech by Fed Chair Janet Yellen later in the session.
U.S. retail sales and consumer sentiment figures are also due out.
