Investing.com – The dollar Tuesday extended losses after weaker than expected services sector activity.
The dollar index was down 0.74% at 10:20 ET. It was down 0.17% before the release of the data.
The greenback shed 1.02% to 102.38 yen.
The ISM said Tuesday its non-manufacturing PMI fell to 51.4 to last month from 55.5 in July.
Analysts had expected the index to fall to 55.0 in August.
