BERLIN, Feb 11 (Reuters) - German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said on Friday Berlin had never insisted on a German candidate for the presidency of the European Central Bank.
After meeting with French Economy Minister Christine Lagarde and French central bank chief Christian Noyer in Berlin, Schaeuble said the priority was the reform of euro zone rules rather than the ECB succession.
