Investing.com - Retail sales in Switzerland rose more-than-expected in February, official data showed on Tuesday.
In a report, Switzerland’s Federal Statistical Office said that retail sales rose at annualized rate of 2.4% in February, beating expectations for a 2% gain.
Retail sales in January were revised up to a 2% increase from a previously repotted gain of 1.9%.
Following the release of the data, the Swiss franc remained lower against the U.S. dollar, with USD/CHF adding 0.13% to trade at 0.9364.
