WASHINGTON, Jan 27 (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee on Tuesday approved a $365.6 billion portion of an $825 economic stimulus bill that Democrats hope to move rapidly through Congress.
By a vote 21-9, the committee sent the legislation to the full Senate to consider. However, a tax-cut component of the bill was still being worked on by the panel. (Reporting by Richard Cowan; editing by Neil Stempleman)
