TALLINN, July 2 (Reuters) - Italian mobile content firm Buongiorno has seen little impact from the recession and had a very good January-June period, the chief executive of the firm told Reuters.
"Things are good, in line with our plans," CEO Andrea Casalini said in a telephone interview, when asked about second-quarter performance.
"We consider the first half as a very good one," he said, declining to elaborate further.
Casalini said the mobile entertainment business was quite resilient in the recession, helped by the small size of each purchase.
He said financially the firm was in a position to make acquisitions in the extremely fragmented sector, but focusing on organic growth for now.
"Our immediate appetite is not that high. Our focus is more on opening up new business lines, to grow organically," he said. (Reporting by Tarmo Virki; Editing by Jon Loades-Carter)
