Investing.com – Philippines stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Property, Industrials and Banking & Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Philippines, the PSEi Composite declined 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the PSEi Composite were Dmci Holdings (PS:DMC), which rose 3.72% or 0.420 points to trade at 11.720 at the close. Meanwhile, Semirara Minin (PS:SCC) added 3.37% or 4.4000 points to end at 135.0000 and Bloomberry Res (PS:BLOOM) was up 1.77% or 0.120 points to 6.900 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Philex Mining (PS:PX), which fell 5.49% or 0.290 points to trade at 4.990 at the close. Megaworld Corp (PS:MEG) declined 3.69% or 0.160 points to end at 4.180 and San Miguel Cor (PS:SMC) was down 3.08% or 1.550 points to 48.700.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Philippines Stock Exchange by 114 to 68 and 15 ended unchanged.

Gold for December delivery was down 0.01% or 0.10 to $1124.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.75% or 0.35 to hit $46.40 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 0.55% or 0.28 to trade at $50.40 a barrel.
CNY/PHP was down 0.02% to 7.3507, while USD/PHP fell 0.02% to 46.720.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 96.18.
