NEW YORK, Feb 23 (Reuters) - The Dow fell more than 1 percent and the S&P 500 dropped to session lows below 1,300 on Wednesday as U.S. oil prices rose to $100 a barrel. The Nasdaq was also down more than 1 percent.
The Dow Jones industrial average was down 124.27 points, or 1.02 percent, at 12,088.52. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 13.62 points, or 1.04 percent, at 1,301.82. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 46.83 points, or 1.70 percent, at 2,709.59. (Reporting by Caroline Valetkevitch; Editing by Leslie Adler)
