NEW YORK, Aug 23 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks cut gains on Monday, pulled lower by technology shares and as Hewlett-Packard Co fell after it launched a $1.6 billion bid for 3PAR Inc.
* The Dow Jones industrial average added 26.64 points, or 0.26 percent, to 10,240.26. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 3.31 points, or 0.31 percent, to 1,075.00. The Nasdaq Composite Index was off 1.60 points, or 0.07 percent, to 2,178.16.
