Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 9.94% or 4.40 points to trade at 48.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 7.38% or 1.18 points to end at 17.18 and Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) was up 6.71% or 1.16 points to 18.46 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which fell 4.69% or 1.20 points to trade at 24.40 at the close. Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) declined 2.34% or 1.20 points to end at 50.00 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) was down 2.30% or 0.40 points to 17.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 86 to 82 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.44% or 0.20 to $45.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.23% or 0.11 to hit $47.85 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.72 to trade at $1219.82 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.02% to 4.2812, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 95.50.
