Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Consumer Industry and Manufacturing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO), which rose 31.43% or 22 points to trade at 92 at the close. Meanwhile, Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk (JK:LCGP) added 17.02% or 80 points to end at 550 and Roda Vivatex Tbk (JK:RDTX) was up 16.67% or 1000.000 points to 7000.000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN), which fell 10.00% or 19.00 points to trade at 171.00 at the close. Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA) declined 10.00% or 7 points to end at 63 and Lippo General Insurance Tbk (JK:LPGI) was down 10.00% or 515 points to 4635.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 208 to 93 and 46 ended unchanged.
Shares in Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA) fell to all time lows; falling 10.00% or 7 to 63. Shares in Roda Vivatex Tbk (JK:RDTX) rose to all time highs; rising 16.67% or 1000.000 to 7000.000.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.41% or 0.12 to $30.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.17% or 0.05 to hit $28.89 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.40 to trade at $1091.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.36% to 13932.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.40% to 9559.45.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 99.10.
