Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.63% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which rose 3.63% or 2270 points to trade at 64840 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) added 3.46% or 2250 points to end at 67200 and Avner L (TA:AVNRp) was up 2.82% or 6.2 points to 226.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Poalim (TA:POLI), which fell 0.47% or 9 points to trade at 1916 at the close. Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) declined 0.46% or 0.3 points to end at 64.5 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was down 0.27% or 12 points to 4418.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 244 to 83 and 126 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 5.06% or 1.75 to $36.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 5.04% or 1.87 to hit $38.94 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1259.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.47% to 3.9095, while EUR/ILS rose 0.93% to 4.3035.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.37% at 97.25.
