Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 1.83%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HEL:AMEAS), which rose 3.78% or 0.94 points to trade at 25.81 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HEL:ORNBV) added 3.56% or 1.29 points to end at 37.56 and Kemira Oyj (HEL:KRA1V) was up 3.36% or 0.38 points to 11.68 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fortum Oyj (HEL:FUM1V), which rose 0.13% or 0.02 points to trade at 15.80 at the close. Konecranes Oyj (HEL:KCR1V) added 0.15% or 0.05 points to end at 32.55 and Outotec Oyj (HEL:OTE1V) was up 0.26% or 0.015 points to 5.830.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 135 to 44 and 1 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 1.27% or 0.64 to $49.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 2.49% or 1.08 to hit $42.22 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.70% or 7.90 to trade at $1115.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.13% to 1.1143, while EUR/GBP fell 0.07% to 0.7141.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 96.45.
