Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Materials, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.16% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 2.66% or 0.30 points to trade at 11.60 at the close. Meanwhile, BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) added 1.79% or 0.61 points to end at 34.60 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 1.25% or 0.7 points to 52.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which fell 2.50% or 1.01 points to trade at 39.45 at the close. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 1.08% or 0.01 points to end at 1.10 and Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) was down 1.03% or 0.85 points to 81.45.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 97 to 76 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.60% or 0.30 to $50.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.78% or 0.43 to hit $55.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.93 to trade at $1312.73 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.08% to 9.3559, while USD/NOK fell 0.35% to 7.8057.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 91.62.
