Principal High Yield Fund Class C (CCHIX) seeks high yield corporate issues at a discount. The fund primarily invests at least 80% of its net assets in a diversified portfolio of fixed income securities (including debt securities, convertible securities and preferred stocks). The fund may also invest in securities of foreign issuers including those located in developing or emerging countries.
