Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Transport and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.13% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6070), which rose 7.58% or 4.70 points to trade at 66.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Basic Chemical Industries Co (TADAWUL:1210) added 5.36% or 1.85 points to end at 36.35 and AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (TADAWUL:2320) was up 3.91% or 1.75 points to 46.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Public Transport Co. (TADAWUL:4040), which fell 9.92% or 2.00 points to trade at 18.16 at the close. Perfect Presentation for Commercial Services Company PJSC (TADAWUL:7204) declined 9.91% or 3.25 points to end at 29.55 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8030) was down 9.86% or 2.75 points to 25.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 241 to 48 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6070) rose to 52-week highs; up 7.58% or 4.70 to 66.70.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.49% or 0.39 to $78.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.44% or 0.37 to hit $82.99 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 9.20 to trade at $2,352.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.19% to 4.05, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 105.04.
