Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Construction & Building Materials and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Agma Lahlou-Tazi (CS:AGMA), which rose 5.58% or 148 points to trade at 2800 at the close. Meanwhile, Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO) added 4.92% or 75 points to end at 1600 and Rebab Company (CS:REBA) was up 4.90% or 7.00 points to 150.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC), which fell 10.00% or 17.10 points to trade at 153.95 at the close. Maghreb Oxygene (CS:OXYG) declined 4.86% or 6.95 points to end at 136.10 and Taslif (CS:TSF1) was down 4.62% or 1.20 points to 24.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 25 to 17 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Agma Lahlou-Tazi (CS:AGMA) rose to 52-week highs; rising 5.58% or 148 to 2800. Shares in Rebab Company (CS:REBA) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.90% or 7.00 to 150.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.40% or 0.19 to $48.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.72% or 0.39 to hit $54.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 3.35 to trade at $1332.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.02% to 11.1680, while USD/MAD fell 0.07% to 9.3339.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 91.91.
