Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Agriculture, Consumer Industry and Property sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Magna Finance Tbk (JK:MGNA), which rose 16.67% or 10.00 points to trade at 70.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sunson Textile Manufacturer (JK:SSTM) added 16.22% or 24 points to end at 172 and Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) was up 16.07% or 180 points to 1300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI), which fell 10.00% or 130 points to trade at 1170 at the close. Bank Harda Internasional Tbk PT (JK:BBHI) declined 9.90% or 10 points to end at 91 and Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional (JK:BTPN) was down 9.82% or 270 points to 2480.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 194 to 91 and 86 ended unchanged.
Shares in Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) fell to 52-week lows; losing 10.00% or 130 to 1170. Shares in Sunson Textile Manufacturer (JK:SSTM) rose to 3-years highs; up 16.22% or 24 to 172. Shares in Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) rose to all time highs; gaining 16.07% or 180 to 1300.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.44% or 0.21 to $47.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.54% or 0.26 to hit $48.09 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.70% or 8.75 to trade at $1242.75 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.78% to 13686.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.68% to 9747.05.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.17% at 95.39.
